Datura Moon Flower is a classic floral-powder perfume built around Royal Hawaiian sandalwood, orris butter, and Bulgarian rose otto. It opens with shimmering aldehydes, delicate violet, and bergamot, revealing a heart of creamy orris butter, ylang ylang, tuberose, and Indian jasmine, before settling into a warm, grounding base of sandalwood, vetiver, and brown ambergris.
Handcrafted in Canada by perfumer Matthew Meleg, this perfume is made in small batches using 100% natural materials, including genuine Royal Organic Hawaiian sandalwood, natural orris butter, and brown ambergris tincture. Each bottle is blended, aged, and finished with the care of an artisan perfume house.

I managed my families "Meleg's Orchard," in a small south Ontario town until I was 25. The orchard started with Sam Meleg, a Slovak from the Provence of Vojvodina, former Kingdom of Serbia of the Austro Hungarian Empire. My work ethic, self deprecating humour and stubborn nature is reflective of my Slovak, peasant roots.
Here my cousins are laying crops into the "apple bin." My wooden perfume box is meant to represent apple bins. Be they rose, vetiver or jasmine farmers. Be they from India, Mexico, Canada or Iran - Meleg Perfumes celebrates farmers and artisans of all nations.
