Philosopher’s Path Attar 15ml is a rich incense-floral oil perfume built around rose otto, jasmine absolute, Mysore sandalwood, and labdanum. It opens with the warmth of rose and jasmine, revealing a heart of ambrette seed CO2 and frankincense-cedarwood co-distillation, before settling into a deep, smooth base of Mysore sandalwood, labdanum, and vanilla absolute — at 50% dilution in organic jojoba oil.
Handcrafted in Canada by perfumer Matthew Meleg, this attar is made in small batches using 100% natural materials of the finest quality. Each bottle is blended, aged, and finished with the care of an artisan perfume house.

I managed my families "Meleg's Orchard," in a small south Ontario town until I was 25. The orchard started with Sam Meleg, a Slovak from the Provence of Vojvodina, former Kingdom of Serbia of the Austro Hungarian Empire. My work ethic, self deprecating humour and stubborn nature is reflective of my Slovak, peasant roots.
Here my cousins are laying crops into the "apple bin." My wooden perfume box is meant to represent apple bins. Be they rose, vetiver or jasmine farmers. Be they from India, Mexico, Canada or Iran - Meleg Perfumes celebrates farmers and artisans of all nations.
