Two sacred incense perfumes inspired by ancient Egypt — one for morning, one for day — offered together as a complete olfactory ritual.
Temple of Horus (Morning) is a bright, uplifting incense built around Hojari frankincense, juniper berry, and benzoin. Temple of Horus 2 (Daytime) is a grounding, smooth incense built around myrrh resin, orris butter, and tonka bean. Together they form a complete aromatic journey from dawn to dusk, inspired by 2,500-year-old formulas inscribed on the walls of the Temple of Horus at Edfu, Egypt.
Handcrafted in Canada by perfumer Matthew Meleg, both perfumes are made in small batches using a high concentration of natural resins and essential oils, including rare Hojari frankincense, genuine myrrh resin, and orris butter. Each bottle is blended, aged, and finished with the care of an artisan perfume house.

I managed my families "Meleg's Orchard," in a small south Ontario town until I was 25. The orchard started with Sam Meleg, a Slovak from the Provence of Vojvodina, former Kingdom of Serbia of the Austro Hungarian Empire. My work ethic, self deprecating humour and stubborn nature is reflective of my Slovak, peasant roots.
Here my cousins are laying crops into the "apple bin." My wooden perfume box is meant to represent apple bins. Be they rose, vetiver or jasmine farmers. Be they from India, Mexico, Canada or Iran - Meleg Perfumes celebrates farmers and artisans of all nations.
