Temple of Horus 2 is a floral-resinous incense perfume built around myrrh, orris butter, and tonka bean. It opens with pink lotus and exotic florals, revealing a heart of myrrh resin and orris butter, before settling into a warm, smooth base of cedarwood and tonka bean — evoking the sacred incense of the Temple of Horus at midday.
Handcrafted in Canada by perfumer Matthew Meleg, Temple of Horus 2 is made in small batches using a high concentration of natural resins and precious materials, including genuine myrrh resin and orris butter. Each bottle is blended, aged, and finished with the care of an artisan perfume house.

I managed my families "Meleg's Orchard," in a small south Ontario town until I was 25. The orchard started with Sam Meleg, a Slovak from the Provence of Vojvodina, former Kingdom of Serbia of the Austro Hungarian Empire. My work ethic, self deprecating humour and stubborn nature is reflective of my Slovak, peasant roots.
Here my cousins are laying crops into the "apple bin." My wooden perfume box is meant to represent apple bins. Be they rose, vetiver or jasmine farmers. Be they from India, Mexico, Canada or Iran - Meleg Perfumes celebrates farmers and artisans of all nations.
