Madeline Peach is a classic fruity chypre perfume built around peach lactones, oakmoss, and patchouli. It opens with bergamot and lemon, revealing a heart of peach, jasmine sambac, and ylang ylang, before settling into a deep, resinous base of oakmoss, patchouli, benzoin, tonka bean, vanilla, musks, and a subtle vintage animalic warmth.
Handcrafted in Canada by perfumer Matthew Meleg, Madeline Peach is made in small batches at 30% concentration, inspired by pre-IFRA French perfumery — thick, long-wearing, and unapologetically elegant. Each bottle is blended, aged, and finished with the care of an artisan perfume house.

I managed my families "Meleg's Orchard," in a small south Ontario town until I was 25. The orchard started with Sam Meleg, a Slovak from the Provence of Vojvodina, former Kingdom of Serbia of the Austro Hungarian Empire. My work ethic, self deprecating humour and stubborn nature is reflective of my Slovak, peasant roots.
Here my cousins are laying crops into the "apple bin." My wooden perfume box is meant to represent apple bins. Be they rose, vetiver or jasmine farmers. Be they from India, Mexico, Canada or Iran - Meleg Perfumes celebrates farmers and artisans of all nations.
