In the heart, Florosa and Hedione add a smooth floral glow over modern woods, while ginger and cardamom bring a fresh, elegant spice. The drydown is warm and confident: cedarwood, frankincense, coumarin-tonka warmth, and a refined tobacco nuance—finished with the faintest touch of birch tar smoke and soft vanilla-musk comfort.

I managed my families "Meleg's Orchard," in a small south Ontario town until I was 25. The orchard started with Sam Meleg, a Slovak from the Provence of Vojvodina, former Kingdom of Serbia of the Austro Hungarian Empire. My work ethic, self deprecating humour and stubborn nature is reflective of my Slovak, peasant roots.
Here my cousins are laying crops into the "apple bin." My wooden perfume box is meant to represent apple bins. Be they rose, vetiver or jasmine farmers. Be they from India, Mexico, Canada or Iran - Meleg Perfumes celebrates farmers and artisans of all nations.
