Cognac - Chocolate - Maple Brown Sugar
A bold maple-caramel gourmand with a dark, luxurious edge—made for lovers of rich sweetness. It opens with a boozy cognac warmth that immediately turns syrupy, like maple poured over toasted caramel. In the heart, coffee distillate and a warm “rice caramel” nuance add depth and an almost dessert-like comfort. The base is where it gets addictive: patchouli and smooth woods give it darkness, vanilla and musks make it plush, and a tiny touch of birch tar smoke plus castoreum adds a sexy, leathery shadow—sweet, roasted, and slightly smoky.

I managed my families "Meleg's Orchard," in a small south Ontario town until I was 25. The orchard started with Sam Meleg, a Slovak from the Provence of Vojvodina, former Kingdom of Serbia of the Austro Hungarian Empire. My work ethic, self deprecating humour and stubborn nature is reflective of my Slovak, peasant roots.
Here my cousins are laying crops into the "apple bin." My wooden perfume box is meant to represent apple bins. Be they rose, vetiver or jasmine farmers. Be they from India, Mexico, Canada or Iran - Meleg Perfumes celebrates farmers and artisans of all nations.
